a gathering

I am so grateful that we were able to have an in-person gathering for this show despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Many thanks are due to the team at Talking Dolls, especially Sarah Blanchette, who orchestrated a safe and memorable opening and closing via an online sign-up platform and documenting the opening and closing show times. While the space was never “filled” due to the limited occupancy afforded (required?) by the pandemic, it was a unique opportunity to connect with visitors in a more intimate way than the usual bustling show opening and closings. Thanks, too, are due to visitors who bravely came and respected our social distancing, masking, and time-slot asks. We must all work together to maintain community amidst these tricky times, while simultaneously bringing this pandemic to a close.
